Even if it is to learn, why don’t you do it offline ?
Aside.. if you learn something with other content (i do it as well sometimes, but never for a client or uni work, just purely offline for skilling up)

I understand your position and frankly do not blame your perspective at all and I do indeed feel embarrassed and apologetic that you came to the above conclusion. As ‘ripping you off’ was not my intention.

My goal was to use your site’s structure and functionality and reverse engineer it and learn EE while doing so. With that knowledge, go back and customize the design extensively, whereas it would not have even looked similar to your design. This is no excuse, nor am I intending to make one. Just clarifying.

Secondly, and rest assured, that although your design and functionality was interesting, I was less impressed with your site copy/services and your value proposition. So I had no intentions of copying your ‘content’.

In conclusion, I was trying to use your CSS structure and javascript functionality to learn, and as my EE posts outline, how to implement EE with similar functionality.

Truly.

So yes, I am guilty of reverse engineering your site in a live environment and for that I apologize and will pull it down today.
