Bobcat 319
In 2006 the world-famous Bobcat (Ingersoll Rand) introduced a new mini excavator to the market: the Bobcat 319. The product launch was supported by a microsite with video footage of all main features.
Objectives
- Create an entertaining micro-site to introduce the new Bobcat 319 to the European market in 6 languages.
- Shoot video footage of all main features of the Bobcat 319, and integrate them in an interactive online experience.
Results
- The Bobcat 319 micro site was built entirely in Flash, and features a seamless integration of video in a product presentation.
- Because all textual content is separated from the presentation layer, translated versions could be added easily.
- The microsite is used by Bobcat dealers all over the world.
