De Toekomst begint nu

The national elections on the 10th of June, 2007 were very important for GROEN!, the local green party in Belgium. To support their campaign prior to the elections they needed a striking website. Ad vice agency K&TKW was in charge of the offline campaign, Glue took care of the online chapter.

Objectives

• Design and develop a striking and interactive website.
• Involvement of GROEN! enthusiasts.
• Add viral marketing principles to the website, so users would start spreading the word.

Results

• The site features an unusual, though very simple, navigation interface that perfectly matches the campaign idea.
• The GROEN campaign managers can update the webcontent themselves.
• A Wordpress blog was set up and styled in the campaign look & feel.
• You can create and send your own ECO card via the website. During the last week before the elections, the amount of ECO cards that was sent via the website was overwhelming.
• Visitors could add their own ECO quote to the website.
